Taking care of your ceramics

Oven & Microwave:

It’s not recommended to place your ceramics in the microwave or in the oven at a high temperature.

Washing:

We recommend hand washing for your ceramics since it will mostly guarantee a longer life-span.

You can consider machine washing, but only at times and with a lower heat setting and mild machine soap.

Hairline cracks in glazed piece:

This is due to an inconsistent temperature reached throughout the entire kiln. These small hairline cracks in the glaze does not affect the quality of the pieces, in fact we quite like the character it give to the pieces.

Lead free and food safe:

Take care when serving oily foods or sauces in non-glazed pieces. This will stain the ceramics.

The glazes we use are lead-free making it safe to use for serving food.
